Indian Army Recruitment 2025 Age Limit:

The age limits for various posts under the Agniveer recruitment are as follows:

  • Agniveer (General Duty): 17½ - 21 years

  • Agniveer (Technical): 17½ - 21 years

  • Agniveer (Clerk / Store Keeper Technical): 17½ - 21 years

  • Agniveer Tradesmen 10th Pass: 17½ - 21 years

  • Agniveer Tradesmen 8th Pass: 17½ - 21 years

Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.


Qualification:

Candidates should possess the following educational qualifications:

  • 10th, 12th, or ITI Pass.


Height, Chest, and Weight Criteria:

Candidates must meet the following physical standards based on the post applied for:

  • Agniveer General Duty:


    Height: 166 cm, Chest: 77 (+5 cm expansion)

  • Agniveer Technical:


    Height: 165 cm, Chest: 77 (+5 cm expansion)

  • Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical:


    Height: 162 cm, Chest: 77 (+5 cm expansion)

  • Agniveer Tradesman (10th Pass):


    Height: 166 cm, Chest: 77 (+5 cm expansion)

  • Agniveer Tradesman (8th Pass):


    Height: 166 cm, Chest: 77 (+5 cm expansion)


Pay Scale:

The pay scale for Agniveer recruits is as follows:

  • 1st Year: ₹30,000/-

  • 2nd Year: ₹33,000/-

  • 3rd Year: ₹36,500/-

  • 4th Year: ₹40,000/-

Additionally, Risk and Hardship Allowances, Dress, and Travel Allowances are provided as applicable in the Indian Army.


Recruitment Process:

The recruitment process for Agniveer will be conducted in two phases:

Phase I:

  • Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) will be conducted at computer-based test centers allotted to the candidates.

Phase II:

  • Recruitment Rally: This will be held by the Army Recruiting Offices at designated rally venues. During Phase II, candidates will undergo:

    • Physical Fitness Test

    • Physical Measurement Test

    • Adaptability Test

Candidates applying for the Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper Technical post will also have to undergo a Typing Test.
